Proud recipients of the Quesnel Tourism Excellence Award

The Quesnel SkyFest Society is a newly formed group with its roots stemming from several members of the Quesnel Flying Club and other local aviation enthusiasts. The mandate of the group is to provide a high quality entertainment venue as well as promote aviation through increased awareness of aviation related careers and the role our airport plays within the community. Toward this goal the SkyFest Society has begun planning for its second airshow.

SkyFest 2012 will be a two day show on August 4 & 5, and will feature a number of aerobatic performances, static aircraft displays with possible by the Canadian Armed Forces, trades fair, and airplane tours over the city and that is just for starters.
